Product Designer · UX/UI Design
Based in beautiful Kelowna, BC, I solve problems through UX/UI design and build digital products that are useful, clear, and worth coming back to.
I've led UX/UI at Simply Benefits since 2022, a Canadian digital benefits platform used by advisors, employers, and members to manage group insurance.
The product spans multiple portals and complex systems, including claims, plan pricing, spending accounts, and marketplace features. My work focuses on turning fragmented workflows into clear, consistent experiences that scale across the platform.
A scalable design system for a multi-portal benefits platform. Components, tokens, and documentation that keep things consistent across the advisor, employer, and member experiences.
A full redesign of the spending accounts experience. HSA, LSA, and RRSP allocation flows, balance visibility, and grace period handling across the member portal.
Rebuilt the underwriting rate-change workflow. Before and after comparison views, collapsible benefit sections, change indicators, and a revision history with editable pending changes.
Designed and built the Simply Benefits marketing site. Clean, conversion-focused, and written to actually explain what the product does to advisors, employers, and members.
A curated perks page where members can find exclusive deals and services from trusted partners. Designed to help people actually get more out of their benefits.
Video work for Simply Benefits and clients through Elevolve. Animated explainers, product walkthroughs, social reels, and promotional brand videos, directed and edited in-house.
I founded Elevolve, a Kelowna-based creative studio. We build custom websites, brand identities, animated videos, and digital marketing for small businesses and startups. Real clients, real work, results you can actually see.

Digital marketing, video content, and social strategy to grow online presence and drive conversions for a B2B software company.
A sleek, modern site that needed to feel urgent and professional at the same time. Clear messaging and a responsive design that builds trust when it matters most.
A clean, mobile-friendly site showcasing their services and past projects. Led to a noticeable uptick in inbound inquiries after launch.
"Adam has had a huge impact on Simply Benefits. He takes complicated workflows and turns them into things our members can actually use, and he's done the same on the brand and marketing side. He works fast, cares about the details, and gets things shipped."

I'm a product designer based in Kelowna, BC, with over 7 years of experience working across different industries. I'm currently the Creative Lead at Simply Benefits, where I've spent the last 4+ years leading UX/UI on a full-scale benefits platform used by thousands of people every day.
Before that, I was at GoTopShelf, leading a designer and working on UX/UI for real estate marketing platforms. I've got a UX/UI diploma from RED Academy, but most of what I know came from shipping real work.
I care about solving the actual problem, not just the surface of it. That means thinking about things at a systems level and making sure what I ship is clear, efficient, and worth using. On the side, I run a small design and marketing agency called Elevolve, helping businesses with web, branding, and digital growth.
When I'm not working, I'm usually running, training, or tinkering on something new.
I start by understanding what is really going on. I talk to users, look at data, and get context from stakeholders to uncover the actual problem.
I turn what I learn into something clear. That includes mapping flows, identifying edge cases, and making sure the problem is properly understood before any design work starts.
I create wireframes and prototypes to explore solutions, then refine them into polished designs. I test ideas early and adjust based on feedback and real usage.
I stay involved through development and after launch. I work with developers to make sure things are built correctly and pay attention to how the experience performs once it is live.
